Bio: Smarty has gone through periods of her life when she basically only took off her skates to sleep. She can remember every pair of skates she’s ever owned. She tried out for the TXRD Lonestar Rollergirls in May of 2003 so that her friends could have some entertainment for the night. Little did she know what she was walking into: the most progressive sport played by the world’s smartest women. In January of 2011 Smarty joined the Texas Rollergirls. When she’s not in Austin skating she’s training derby around the world. She’s excited to be part of Team Antic!

Bio: Angela Death grew up skating on the 1932 and 1980 Olympic ice rinks in Lake Placid, NY. She started figure skating at age four and after ten years of spinning in circles by herself, she was ecstatic when a friend told her about a girls hockey team that was forming. She played hockey on various teams for 5 years until she became more interested in snowboarding and enjoying her college years. After 6 years of not skating, she found roller derby in 2005 and dusted off her skating skills to put them to good use as a Jammer for the Green Barrettes and the Mile High Club.

Bio: I’ve been skating since I was 3. My mom use to manage a skating rink, so I pretty much grew up with skates on. I played Travel Roller Hockey when I was younger and did a couple years of speed skating. Once derby was introduced into my life, I fell in love. I started out with a small league in ’07 but eventually moved to Tampa. I’m now part of the Tampa Bay Derby Darlins and play on two teams. My home team, Black Widows and Tampa’s travel team, Tampa Tantrums.

Bio: Ramb0 started playing team sports as soon as she could walk. She played any sport with a ball; baseball, softball, volleyball, field hockey, basketball, even backyard football and soccer. She has been a Nashville Rollergirls All Star team captain for multiple seasons and is on her league’s training staff. Ramb0 has also been recognized as her All Star team’s best jammer 3 years in a row. She prides herself on being mentally and physically fit and believes that preparation is the key to any victory.

Bio: Lacey has always been an athlete, but wasnt a skater until her adult life. She played Division 1 soccer for Eastern Washington University but found her real passion after college graduation with a pair of roller skates. In February 2006 Lacey went to her first derby bout and knowing she didnt have the first clue about skating didnt stop her from trying out…she went to tryouts in June 2006 and pretended to know what she was doing. Closely resembling bambi on ice, she barely made the Rat City Rollergirls league. Skating 5 days a week and sticking to a tough off skates strengthening regimne she has earned her spot on the allstar team within 6 months of being drafted to the league. With the Rat City Allstars Carmen has skated in numerous nationally ranked bouts and is preparing to do some international travel this year. She started Team Legit, the banked track team filled with flat track skaters from across the US, in order to experience slanted competition. Team Legit has done very well, playing and beating some of the toughest compeition in the country!! Achievements: Been all over U.S. as a teen for speed skating, even made it to France from 1997-1999 for a competition called Trois Piste. Won my 500 meter sprint lap race in senior ladies division 1999. Ended up getting 3rd overall that year in Pensacola, FL. Skated for ICT of Wichita, KS and then transfered to Omaha Roller Girls in 2009. Led my team from the 16th place ranking to the 9th place ranking in the North Central region in the 2010 season.
Bio: Born and raised in Wichita, KS, I come from a skating family so I knew how to skate before I could walk! Moved to Omaha, NE 2009 , during the weekdays I’m a full-time student at Joseph’s Barber College, and the weekends I work as a Body Piercer at Villians Tattoo shop. Most of my evenings are spent on 8 wheels…and when I’m not skating I’m hanging out with my girlfriend, her son, or derby friends!

Bio: Had skated, played badminton, tennis, volleyball, track and field, netball, gymnastics as a kid but never to a high level. My Dad was a high school sports teacher, my Mum was a Drama Teacher (clearly derby was meant for me!). Started with London Rrollergirls in Nov. 2006. I started coaching in July 2007 and coached a bunch of leagues in the UK before moving back to Autralia in August 2009, where I started with the Victorian Roller Derby League (now Australia’s first WFTDA Apprentices). I have been lucky enough to travel heaps to coach (Perth, Sydney, Rollercon 2010, Manchester UK Nov 2010). I have been extremely lucky to have learnt from some amazing skaters and derby coaches, and continue to be a derby sponge. I am passionate about growing as a skater and encouraging others to do the same.

Bio: Number 85, Hannah Ouchocinco is a jammer for the Cincinnati Rollergirls’ Black Sheep. She started skating when she was five. A rink rat, she learned how to skate tagging along behind the boogie bounce lines at Skateworld in Kettering, Ohio. Known especially for juking and jumping, Hannah was voted Best Jammer by her teammates in 2010. She lives near Cincinnati with her Chihuahua Sofiapath and boyfriend Quad Almighty. When she’s not training, she likes Cincinnati Reds baseball, designer shoes and a good IPA.
